We went in on what seemed like a busy Friday night. Service was amazing and food and drinks were 10/10. We sat at the bar and Amanda and Autumn took excellent care of us! We will absolutely be back!

This was our first meal at Modern Plate. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas beautifully. Server was very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and there was lots of it. Go check it out in downtown Elmhurst.

I have visited this place a few times now and must say it is always great. Had my wife's b-day celebration here and it was the best decision we could have made. Set up bar tab for my guests and the service was top notch and they kept us updated on the amount we were at when getting to the limit we set. Food is good and apps were served for each table and enjoyed by all.
We tried the sliders, flatbread, chicken skewers, burgers, and calamari, and for desert lava cake. Recommend it all. For drinks we had old fashioned, espresso martini, long island, and cosmos. Again, all good and recommended.

Healthy modern takes on dished. Lots of vegetarian options, but still has meat for us carnivores. Staff was very friendly.

I was looking for a decent place to eat in Elmhurst (love the Elmhurst vibe) and this place was calling my name.

Great service, nice atmosphere. I started with a blood orange gin fizz which was tart and delicious. The soup of the day was roasted red pepper and it was creamy without being too thick. Very flavorful!

For my main course I had the short rib grilled cheese (they were very generous with the short rib) with a side salad. The portion was quite generous; I was hoping for dessert but I just didn’t have room for it, so I capped off the meal with a nice espresso.

My server was quite friendly and gave me some good suggestions for my meal.

Rachel our bartender was outstanding. Very attentive, but more importantly, very personable. Jason the owner and the face in the front of the house is great. Makes a point to approach every table and talk with them. And the food is fantastic! A great place to have a drink and finger food or sit down for a great meal. I highly recommend Modern Plate for any occasion!

Alright guys listen this place is a must try soooo good but the best part was there bathrooms holy moley I had the best time in there it sooo clean and peaceful and smelled pleasant.Also there hostess was so kind and respectful.

Diddy was there tho. And I got oil on me !
