Wow, time flies when you’re serving up delicious food and unforgettable memories! 🎉 This December 20th, Modern Plate celebrates its 1st anniversary, and what a year it’s been! From welcoming our first guests to becoming a go-to dining spot in Elmhurst, we’ve loved every moment. Let’s take a fun look back at our first year and everything that made it so special.
When we opened our doors last December, our mission was simple: to create a warm, welcoming space where the Elmhurst community could enjoy fresh, flavorful meals. From our very first dish to our signature cocktails like the Blood Orange Gin Fizz, we’ve been dedicated to making every bite count.
The feedback from you—our amazing guests—has been incredible. Dishes like our spicy ribs, roasted veggie handhelds, and weekend specials quickly became fan favorites. Seeing plates come back empty and hearing your rave reviews has been the ultimate reward!
It’s been a year packed with highlights, but a few moments stand out:
We’ve also had the honor of hosting countless celebrations, from birthday dinners to office lunches. Thank you for letting Modern Plate be part of your special moments!
As we look to the future, we’re just getting started. Expect more:
We couldn’t have done it without you, Elmhurst. From our regulars who brighten our days to first-time diners who’ve made us part of their culinary journey, you’ve made this year unforgettable.
